A US search company has run an experiment to test the impact social media can have on organic search results.
TastyPlacement built five websites across five different US cities and set up corresponding social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Google+ for each.
So what happened?
Well, you can check out the results in the infographic below, but the key finding was that +1s on Google were the biggest driver of organic search engine traffic.
